Position Title: Lead Stone Setter

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island

Job Summary

• In partnership with the Area Manager, the Lead Person should be able to direct all Stoneset, Futron, Wiping, and Engraving personnel in the performance of their respective responsibilities in relation to Cost, Quality, Production and Delivery. The Lead Person will also learn and oversee the Greek product line.

Specific Responsibilities

• Insures all team members are aware of the departments’ goals.
• Insures all team members have the proper equipment to complete their operation.
• Insures proper safety procedures are being followed.
• Looks for any potential problems that will hinder overall team goals.
• Responsible for all the Final Manufacturing area’s returns and repairs.
• Aides the department personnel with any problems that might arise and help them seek out solutions, elevating to next level of management when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/ GED equivalent is required.
• Supervisory skills and experience is preferred.
• Must be able to do the above task in a safe, clean and timely manner.
• Ability to read and write in English is required.
• Strong communication skills
• Multi-tasking skills.
• Must be able to work overtime and on Saturdays during busy seasons.
• Ability to establish priorities and work independently.
• Ability to work well with people having different ethnic, social, or educational backgrounds; understand the cultural differences of different groups.

Physical Demands

• Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination
• Near Vision: The ability to see details at close range.
• Control Precision: The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to get to the exact positions.
