Series 2 continues to bring the holiday cheer in Forza Horizon 5 with the Autumn Season. The second week adds all-new challenges and seasonal rewards to the mix. These include the Seasonal Championship: Getting Hyped, which rewards you with the Lamborghini Aventador J, a version of the car that gets rid of the roof and windshield. This week's drop also includes several events that restrict you to Unlimited Buggies, so make sure to check out our recommendations below.

Every Series in Forza Horizon 5 comes with new rewards for players to earn. You'll slowly unlock these as you complete quests and many of these major rewards are exclusive to the season pass. You cannot get these cars from the Autoshow or Wheelspins, making them rarer than many other cars.

The overall Series 2 pass gives players access to a new outfit and car. If you earn 120 points over the course of the month-long season, you'll get the Gingerbread outfit. Earn 200 points and you can hop into the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. On top of that, this season has a global reward for players sending gifts to each other. If the community sends enough gifts during the season, everyone will get the Santa Outfit and a mystery car.

The rewards don't end there though. The Autumn season also has its own reward set. If you get 25 points during the season, you'll pick up the Koenigsegg One. Once you get 45 points, you'll unlock the Exocet OR Forza Edition. The latter is a great car to have for all kinds of Offroad races.

Forzathon Weekly Challenges

This set of weekly challenges is all about RJ Anderson's 2016 #37 Pro 2 Truck. If you don't already have one, you can pick it up for 500,000 Credits. Then, you can start working on completing the four chapters to earn five points and 160 Forzathon points. Here are all four chapters:

  • Own the 2016 Pro 2 Truck
  • Win 2 Cross Country Circuit Events with the Pro 2 Truck
  • Earn 15 total Stars from Danger Signs with the Pro 2 Truck
  • Win 2 Cross Country Circuit Events with the Pro 2 Truck

These are all pretty easy to complete, so you should definitely do them if you're trying to earn seasonal rewards.

Forzathon Daily Challenges

Each day in the Autumn season brings a new Daily Challenge to complete. Each of these gives a single point toward the pass and a few Forzathon points. Here they all are:

  • Beat 3 rivals in 'A' Class Rivals Events
  • Score a Flag in a Flag Rush game
  • Earn 3 Clean Racing Skills in a Road Race
  • Drive a level 7 car in the Eliminator
  • Win a Horizon Tour
  • Complete a Horizon Arcade Event driving any car worth more than 1 Million Credits
  • Earn 5 Wreckage Skills within 20 seconds

Forzathon Shop

Each week, you can buy new cars in the shop for Forzathon points. Below are this week's offerings:

  • 1987 Pontiac Firebird TA Forza Edition - 600 FP
  • Porsche Panamera Turbo- 200 FP
  • Hennessey Velociraptor 6X6 - 400 FP
  • Ferrari F121TDF - 300 FP

This is where you'll be making the bulk of your points. The Forzathon points are an easy way to rack up quick points, but these races and events have the better rewards in terms of total points available. You don't have to complete all of them to finish the pass, but you'll want to as many as possible.

We've collected every event, its reward, and any car requirements you'll need to keep in mind. After that, we'll give you some insight into which cars to use for a few events where you might want some extra guidance.

Best Cars to Compete in The Trial: Make It Rein

This is a race against Unbeatable Drivatars where you're competing as a team with other racers. We recommend trying to put together your own squad instead of competing with randoms, but if that's not possible you'll just have to rely on others.

We prefer using a suped-up version of the 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. Another option would be something like the 2013 Audi RS 7 Sportback. Regardless, no car in this class runs you more than 225,000 Credits, making this a relatively cheap event.

Best Cars to Compete in the Seasonal Playground Games: Snowball Fights

You can actually use the Cholla you get as a reward for this event if you already have it. Otherwise, grab the 2015 Alumi Craft Class 10 Race Car. It's your best option, though it will cost you 300,000 Credits.

Best Cars for the Danger Sign: Cascadas

Any 'A' Class Ford will probably be enough to do the job. However, you'll need to consider that a car with offroad tires might be your best bet. Look for something like the 2020 Ford #2068 Ford Bronco R (especially if you have the Welcome Pack version). If you can't build up enough speed to go the distance, pick a Ford you own (eg: a Mustang) with the highest top speed (even if not an off-road vehicle), tune it to the max, and take the leap.

Best Cars for the Speed Trap: Pyramid of the Sun

You don't get a choice of cars here, but we do recommend using tunes to improve your Audi RS 6

's speed. Outside of that, it's just about driving fast.

Best Cars for the Speed Zone: Costa Roscosa

Again, you'll be fine to use the 2015 Alumi Craft Class 10 Race Car. However, you'll need to tune it up to 'A' Class to qualify for this event.

Best Cars to Compete in the Seasonal Championship: Carol of the Bel Airs

Not many options here, but the best pick is definitely a tuned 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, as you'll go up against a fleet of 1955 Hoonigan models. If you don't have shiny 1957 classic, a tuned 1955 Hoonigan Chevrolet Bel Air is your only other option. Just don't bring the stock model and spend some time finding a high-speed tuning setup with good enough handling.

Best Cars to Compete in the Seasonal Championship: Getting Hyped

The 2002 Koenigsegg CC8S made our list of Fastest Cars in the game, making this a great option for this series. Otherwise, we'd just grab whichever Hypercar you already own and tune it as needed. Cars in this class are pretty dang expensive, after all.

Best Cars to Compete in the Seasonal Championship: Drivin' Home for Xmas

You can use any car in the 'B' Class range, which makes this a relatively easy choice for us. We love the 2016 Honda Civic Type R in this class and it's only 38,000 Credits.

Photo Challenge: #HolidaySpirit

Use the screenshot above to help you find the giant Holiday Tree in Guanajuato. Then, you just need to hop into the 2002 Mazda RX-7 Spirit R and take a picture. Doing so will net you the Sleigh Bells Car Horn and two points.

Horizon Open: Dream Team and The Eliminator

Both of these are online events. Simply hop into matchmaking and start them up. You'll need to finish 30th or better in The Eliminator, but that should happen after a few matches at worst. Completing both will give you four points, 75,000 Credits.

Collectibles: Frosty Friends

All you need to do is smash 15 snowmen that you can find around the map. We recommend going to Mulege to find several of them at once. Finishing this will get you the Snowman Outfit and three points.

Monthly Rivals: Catherdal Circuit

Nothing much to do here, simply finish a lap and pick up your four points for the Season Pass. Note: if you did this last season, you can't do it again.
